We were lucky to be able to stay on the reservation for our November 2014 hunt. I say "we" since I was along to be the official photographer and extra set of eyes in the binos...we did not want to come home empty handed! We were driven out to the "Buffalo Pasture" through the Big Horns and met some other extremely nice and helpful Crows that helped guide us onto the herd...

Using 4 wheel drive trucks was reminiscent of using horses and, combined with the view, made for a truly unique experience. We were put on one small herd which promptly ran away but then "the" herd appeared about three miles off...two trucks on either side and us heading straight for the middle...we came up along side and Mike was able to make a perfect head shot at over 100 yards with his .308...with over 400 pounds of meat, we all ate very well for months...the rest is history and is captured in the videos and pictures below...
